'The Bridge' TV review: Beguiling, moody crime drama set on U.S.-Mexico border

In one of his sinister (and fairly hokey) messages to the public, the unknown serial killer at the center of FX's addictive and moody new crime drama, "The Bridge," refers to dialectics, which sends the El Paso Police Department's homicide detectives scrambling for a dictionary: Is he talking about logical fallacy? Socratic dialogue? Platonic investigation? Juxtaposition of contradictory ideas? Do whut now?
